all 2011 is about combining bright colors with staple neutrals, as a painter would. Think of Pantone's color palette: Deep Teal, Cedar, Peapod, Regatta, Phlox, Bamboo, Emberglow, & Honeysuckle. The adjectives warm, dynamic, magical, fresh, rich,& decadent come to mind with these colors.
Not to mention~ the "nudes" or neutrals of the season including Coffee liquor, Nougat, & Quarry, Orchid hush. They are the rich & decadent adding a sense of elegance giving us an alternative to basic black.
